Maria works as an assistant at a small advertising agency in Barcelona. While she says she likes her job, she's most passionate about her work for Oriflame. "With Oriflame, I make my own hours. And when I'm working for myself, I can immediately see the results of my efforts."
A friend of her sister's first introduced Maria to Oriflame. "She had a small get-together while I was home one weekend, and even though I didn't really know anyone else there, we had a great time together. I truly liked the products. And when I saw how easy it was to sell them, I thought: I could do this!"
A make-up counter at home
This particular Friday, her closest friends, Susanna, Felicia and Margaret, are coming over before going out on the town.
"My girlfriends all use the products. They really like coming over to my place because they think it's like I have an entire make-up counter right here at home." Maria takes advantage of the time to show them some of the newest products. Not surprisingly, she takes more than a few orders.
Full time occupation at Oriflame
The next day is a Saturday and Maria can sleep in. She takes a few minutes in the morning to log into Oriflame's web site and print out an activity report to find out how her consultants are doing. Then she makes her way to a meeting with her sponsor and two other consultants.
Clara, Maria's sponsor, now sees Oriflame as her fulltime occupation. It was Clara that encouraged Maria to look around in her vicinity and start recruiting on her own. It was a smart move: Maria has eleven consultants in her network and the list is growing. A few of them have even become sponsors themselves.
"One of the reasons I love working with Oriflame is the companionship of the people I work with. Clara is a great source of inspiration. She's good at what she does, and that makes everyone around her want to do well. I am a bit jealous of her actually, because she just got back from an annual conference trip to Tunisia for the best performers in Spain!"
